I needed a pair of headphones for the Nokia E71x. This phone does not work with a lot of the 2.5 mm headphones/headsets out there. I found that you will only get sound from one side. This is one of the few ones that will work properly with this phone. Since I am not looking for great sound, just something so I can listen to music or talk hands free, this one fits the bill. If you are listening to music when a call comes in, it will get automatically interrupted and you can listen and talk using the headset without having to take it off. Quite convenient.

This is a fantastic stereo headset with mic for people with 2.5 mm UHJ-type headphone jacks on their cell phone. I just got my pair from new egg and it works perfectly on my Nokia E71x with AT&T. I get sound in both ears and the mic works fine

It's a good little headphone. I use it on the BlackBerry Pearl, and it works like a charm. The ear plugs are surprisingly comfortable, even for long conference calls. I would definitely recommend it for its value.

I was looking for headset for my E71x and saw that it had problems with other headsets and had discovered the same on an existing set, so after reading the reviews I settled on this one. I do not regret it.

The sound is great, whether you have it on one ear or both. Speech is crystal clear. Music is great. I get a good bass sound which often is a problem on speakers. In fact I am sitting here jamming on my phone right now. This is a good buy. It cost a bit more than a few others that also works on E71x, but I do not regret buying it. The sound quality is very good for a cheap headset.

My criteria for mobile headphones is quite limited - 1)Are they convenient to carry? 2)Do they stay in place in my ears? 3)Is the sound acceptable for music? and 4)Can I hear and understand someone during a phone conversation and can they hear and understand me. These little earphones pass all 4 categories with flying colors for me.

This product does what it is supposed to, it plays the music on my Nokia E71x phone wonderfully and I am able to easily answer calls with the headset. However, the downside for me is the earbuds. I use my phone as my mp3 player for running, that way I always have my phone with me for emergencies without having to carry a lot of "equipment" along. I am constantly adjusting the earbuds to keep them in even with the multiple sizes of earbud covers, especially on the side that includes the microphone. I would like to see more earpiece options, or at least an optional earpiece attachment for those who would like to use the earphone while active. On the upside the earphone do work much better that trying to fiddle with a little converter to plug my regular headphones into -- much less to lose later.

At first I thought I wasted my money buying these.

But after I used them a while, I found I could really listen intently (in stereo) to phone calls.

The microphone works too.

The headset comes with two earbud sizes that you can interchange. I changed my to the smaller
buds and got a great fit.

I would recommend these, specially at the cheap price.

I didn't give the headset 5 stars because the microphone is a little funky. Sometimes I have to hold
it up to my mouth to get maximum clarity, but still, it does the job.

First off, these earbuds work phenomenally. The sound is crystal clear and it's easy to pick up a call and have a conversation with the microphone on the cord. My only problem was the earbuds. It came with 3 different sizes and even the smallest was a bit too big and uncomfy. I am a woman with fairly small ears though and I tend to have this problem sometimes. If earbuds usually fit you, go for it! If not, these might be great in a pinch, but after 10 minutes you will probably wanna take them off.

I may have missed that in the write up, but I want people to know. The connector does not work.

These get the job done but I cant use them because they simply will not stay in my ears, although I have this issue with a lot of earbuds, so YMMV.

The only earbuds that stay in my ears are the iPod default earbuds.
