5 and a half million stars would be more like it!,

OKay, as you can obviously tell, I'm a hardcore fan of Stereo Motion, and you're probably thinking, "Wow, this is going to be one of those crazy reviews where the person goes on and on about how every little thing about the band is awesome and bla bla bla." Well, I'm going to try to give it an objective view (yeah right, like thats gonna happen hehehe.) First why do I like it? 1. The guys in the band are awesome and so I'm all for supporting them 2. Eat it you criticizers- they just make rockin' music! If you like "classic" rock 'n roll then this cd is your friend 3. they have excellent drums 4. Their lead singers voice is incredible in a very unique individualistic way. I have never heard another like him. 5. They totally bring glory to God on this cd and thats like the important thing, am I right? YES:D However I have friends who are less than thrilled about this band. Fine- that's your right. Brian has a rather raspy voice, I like it some don't. Also if you just don't like this style of music, well, then you won't like the cd. Moral of the story: very good cd, but definantly not for everyone. Wow! this is a really horrible review!

Stereo Motion's strong debut,

I've been a huge fan of Stereo Motion for a long time, and their debut self-titled CD is amazing... it definitely brings you back to the old sound of Rock and Roll. Not only do the messages they bring glorify God, but they also show the amazing skills they've been blessed with. The songs are so well written, and the guitar riffs will keep you hooked. If you want a true taste of classic rock and roll, I definitely recommend this CD!

ROCK ON, Stereo Motion!,
By Dianna Wolf (KY) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Stereo Motion (Audio CD)
Stereo Motion's debut album is a must have. Some of the songs are fast tempo and really ROCK while others are slower ballads. Every song was written by the band. The lyrics are awesome, but the music behind the lyrics ROCK the songs! You really cannot judge this album based on one song. Every song is different in some way, but there is something great about each song. The issues addressed on this album range from changing into the person you want to be, to embracing God, treasuring each day, having a friend there for you, realizing everyone has doubts, knowing that we should live our life for God, loving every minute with the person you are with, rising above those who try to bring you down, speaking the love and words of God, love songs, and seeing how much God loved us that he sent Jesus to die for us. I encourage each of you to listen and make your own judgments, but most of you will love this cd as much as I do.

Best Classic Rock -n- Roll Band Out There.,
By "katrynia_7" (Ashland, IL USA) - See all my reviews

First off I should say that I am fully impressed by the new Stereo Motion sound. Stereo Motion has a fresh and edgy style. This cd is a must for anyone who wants to be taken back to the Rock -n- Roll age. The twelve song cd is totally worth your money. It is filled with "edge of your seat" songs, including their new single "Rise." The vocals by Bryan Nance Jr. are very impressive and catchy. Stereo Motion's lead guitarist, Brent Lane, will leave you feeling satisfied. His natural talent shows through in "Steal the Show." Also, being a main part in the band is Dallas Morgan. His rhythm is fanatical and he really brings things together. Now for Justin Keith Morgan, the bassist for Stereo Motion, his work truly gives the band an attractive beat. Also, let it be noticed that out of all the members, his stage presence is most amazing. Whether it is a slower tune, such as "Slow Dance the Day Away," or a faster song like "The Sweetest Sound," he is enthralled in every aspect of the music. All of these guys are talent musicians and skilled songwriters. I recommend this CD by Stereo Motion, to all who love the style of Rock -n- Roll.

Revolutionizing the Renovation!,
By Sam Van Eerden (Mukwonago, WI) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Stereo Motion (Audio CD)
Stereo Motion set out to re-create classic rock. The hollow guitar riffs and tinny vocals that consume the genre needed a makeover, and the one-time boy band Phat Chance stepped up to the plate and delivered a winner.
Each and every song on the album is powered by lead vocalist Bryan Nance's energetic vocals, which offers stylistic nods to Bono (particularly in "The Sweetest Sound"). The band profitted from a unique recording system which had the four members record all the instruments at once (instead of the typical process where the drums are recorded first, and the rest is layered in). This technique tests Nance's voice; forcing him to sing and play at the same time (also, he did not have the benifit of an isolated booth apart from the other musicians). Bryan excels under the pressure, though, keeping up with the wild pace and handling his electric guitar as well as anybody. The album's highlight is the meat of the CD: tracks 4-8, and true rock enthusiasts will replay songs like "Steal the Show" (which should have opened the album as it is the most upbeat) and "Ghost" hundreds of times. The band's Christian roots are explored in "I'm here to save you," an allegorical presentation of Christ sacrificing his life on the Cross, and Nance delivers as touching a love song as I've ever heard in "Moonlit Sky." "Rise" was the album's lead single, and it adopts all the facets that popularized 60s and 70s rock, including vicious riffs, overpowering drums, and crooning vocals that echo ACDC's and Rolling Stones' frontmen. The album's best song is easily the piano-driven "Ghost," which carries mournful lyrics all the way to a riveting, soaring chorus: "Sometimes it's like you're some kind of ghost, but I can't lie, you're life to my soul." The chorus is driven by guitars and drums, but harmonic violins underscore the cut, and the piano takes over the back-end, highlighting a series of "ah ahs" by Nance. The song ends with a couple of soaring chords and vocals that Bryan commented were the most difficult (out of all the songs) to sing. "Still a Little Shaken Up" is a suitable cut on any album of this sort, and "The Revolution Times" is a rocking ballad calling for listeners to throw off the world's fashions that "are from hell." One down point is the innovative "Slow Dance" song which tries to carve a niche with falsetto-driven vocals in which all the guys offer their voices. It's a worthy effort, but comes off as too crazy and wierd. Classic Rock purists may really get a kick out of though. All in all, this is the best music album I've ever heard.

phat chance is gone. BRING ON THE ROCK AND ROLL!!,
By shadowfax "Christian Rock Lover" (St. Louis, MO) - See all my reviews

The Days of Phat Chance are over. Yes, phat chance officially stunk on Ice, plus they were an nsync/backstreet boys wannabe, but that isn't them anymore. Now they're a rocknroll band, and they are awesome. Buy this cd if you like classic rock and roll, AND if you don't. Even though they are a sort of classic rock, they're still very cool otherwise.
