This review is from: Stereo Night (Audio CD)
Matt Wilson, the principal creative force behind the Minneapolis based cult favorite Trip Shakespeare, reunites here with former Trip Shakespeare and Semisonic bassist, John Munson, for a collection of songs equally hook laden but less quirky than what they produced with Trip. While Matt still has a penchant for vocal octave jumps, John's singing is less over-the-top here than in their previous project together. Matt's brother Dan lends support to close the album with the excellent "Never Mine to Lose."
In sum, Matt Wilson's song writing abilities remain intact all these many years since he and Munson were last together. Buy this record.
