Once again, there is an issue with truth in advertisement. When offered a larger view, you are given a larger than life picture. Always make sure to look at the specifications for jewelry when you buy it! That is where they list the weight of the metal, quality of the gems, diamentions of the pendant, etc. When they say diamond "accents" they mean the left over chips after cutting a quality diamond. The total weight of diamonds in most of these products is usually somewhere in the neighborhood of 0.05 grams. Not much resale value. Also they will say, "Originally $60, marked down to $20!" Warning bells. When ordering on Amazon, you always get what you pay for. If you go cheap, you get cheap. Still, I've gotten good deals on pearls and other jewelry from Amazon. Just be careful. Look at reviews for the vendor! That is very important as well as customer reviews of the products. The picture of the pendant makes it look like it is set in solid gold (bevelled into a solid gold heart). Not the case, they are set individually, so if you look at the pendant sideways, you see tiny lines of gold and air. My wife was happy with it, even though the emeralds are dull, the diamond accents and gold setting helped. Plus, she's a good sport. It's the thought that counts. She does wear it from time to time.
