We got this scale to track our frail scarlet macaw's weight. It is easy to calibrate and read. My only complaint is that the perch provided with the kit is to small to accommodate a big bird, so we end up wrapping her in a towel and placing her in the bowl, which she doesn't like very much. Still, it does get the job done.

I am super pleased with our bird scale, when we got our new bird, she had been sick, so this allowed us to keep a daily tab of how she is eating. Works great and is sooo easy.
