I bought this for my daughter and was shocked at how much difference an inch makes! I thought it was for a much younger child at first because the chain looked so short. I tried it on and it was pretty short, the proportions were just off. I reached back to unclasp it and the entire clasp fell apart! It's a shame because it is really a nice looking, versatile piece, but really cheaply made. Not worth the money they wanted for it, but I am grateful for Amazon's return policy, which is reasonable and easy.
