pleased as a piper
this was a gift for my friend at work she really liked the earrings and put them right on her ears. they are really beautiful.

celtic agate earrings
they fell apart three times on me and they kept replacing the actual hook for the earring. They look pretty cheap though not as nice as they looked on the site

These earrings look much better in person; smoother, slightly better proportioned (at least to my eye, could have been the lense used for the photo), and the stones have a really beautiful rich color. They're a nice weight, but not too heavy.
My mother knows jewelry pretty well, so when I handed them to her, she immediately remarked that they were "gorgeous, well-done," and that the CZ stones "looked like lab-grown emeralds." It will go perfectly with a necklace she has had for many years and she seems very pleased with them. As for shipping, Silver Insanity has always shipped my stuff quickly. So, even with the holiday rush of mail, the earrings arrived in exactly 7 days from when I was first notified of them having been shipped. Granted, they arrived today (the 20th of December) and I couldn't make myself sit on them for 5 more days; but hey, it's family tradition to never be on schedule!
