I originally bought a bead looking like this from Zabel and paid too much then found that Heirloom offered it with free shipping and ordered several. It is blackened and therefore has no problem with tarnishing. Each one I received slid easily onto my bracelet. It is big enough to be seen; therefore, makes a great faith statement. I use it as a spacer and really like it. It also fits well with my other Christian Beads as a singlet. It is quite versatile and thus, a good deal.
