These earrings are beautiful, nicely sized and sturdy. I'm in love with amber and this was a great buy. The only "but" is that I was under the impression that the amber was a globe (completely rounded), but when I received them I found out that they're only globe-like on the front and flat on the back.

It's not a biggie though. I kept them and I really like them!

Yeah, yeah, I know you can wear amber year-round, but there's just something about the color that reminds me of autumn leaves and windswept days.

This earrings are NICE, much, much nicer than in the picture. I've been an amber fan for a long time, and I have several pairs of earrings. There was just something about the shape of these earrings that was unusual, and the amber itself was really interesting (amber being a natural material.)

I was not disappointed! The earrings hang nicely off my earlobe, and for a change, they're very easy to see under my hair. The amber ovoid globe is a nice size, not tiny or chintzy, and the silver leverbacks are pretty and sturdy. They hold the earrings on just fine.

If you can catch these earrings when Amazon is doing a 30 or 40 percent off sale (like I did :) ), I highly recommend you take the plunge. VERY well worth the price, and even better when they're marked down!

The very first time I wore these, one of the stones fell out and was lost. Imagine my disappointment when an associate at work asked me if I knew that the stone was missing in one of my earrings.

The earrings have an unusual shape, and make a delicate but definite statement when worn. The earthiness of the amber seems to compliment many outfits, and stands out in my light brown/dark blonde hair. I really would have given them 5 stars, as they are a favorite, but like another reviewer, one of my stones fell out within the first two weeks of owning them. As it is, a drop of superglue and I was good to go, but if I hadn't found the stone, I would have been really disappointed.

Look for them on sale, and take your chances. Really an excellent design otherwise.

These earrings have gotten me so many compliments that I'm afaid I wear them too often.

I adore these earrings. The amber is very rich in color and I like the loops that click into place. They are gorgeous.

I love these earrings! They are light weight yet have very sturdy lever back settings. The amber is a rich cognac color as pictured. They can easily be dressed up or down. Highly recommended.

I love amber and will buy a piece with a stylist look and well made design. These earring fit the bill. The color is warm and matches other amber pieces. The design is solid along with easy clasp. One earring loosened up and I had to attach to the clasp but it's fine and I wear them about once a week. I would recommend.
