In the short time that I've owned this piece, I've received more than a few compliments on it - from friends, co-workers, even complete strangers! I originally intended it to be a gift, but at the last moment decided to get 2 (one for myself, one for the gift). I love it. I actually like it more now than when I first saw it.

The only "downside" - if you can even call it that - is that it is a bit "lighter" weight than I expected it to be, and since the epoxy is thicker on the side w/ the marcasite, it is darker, and there is an interesting & subtle swirling visible in the epoxy due to the opposite side being a slightly lighter shade of red and a little translucent. Nonetheless, it is a lovely piece that I wear all over - to work, out dancing, to dinner... I am very excited to give this piece as a gift!!

This pendant is pretty but it has a few draw backs. It is very very light. I anticipated it looking similar on both sides like a puffed heart. Instead it is hollow on the backside. Since it is mostly epoxy it has little weight. My pendants are always flipping over so I am a little concerned to have to flip it all the time to the correct side. I got it on sale (gold box deal). I would not pay full price for it and probably would have returned it if I had.

Bought it for a valentines gift. Its a little different that the one from the picture. The entire thing is nice. The pendant has a few things worth the while pointing out.
The marcasite turns out great with the whole idea. The only thing there is that stones fell off... Had to replace them .But that after all wasnt to much trouble.

The only thing that i didnt like at all was the Red Epoxy... It is just way too thin, if you put your hand behind it it will go darker. I constantly think that it just might brake. Also the colour is brighter than in the picture, it just goes more to an orange than a red.
After all it turned out to be a good gift but i just point out sonme things in case you want to buy it to have it in mind.

For the price i paid i would say it is an OK pendant, nothing fancy that will take your breath away.

I bought this for my mother's birthday. She really liked it.

The color of the pendant goes from a deep red to an orange-red to almost completely orange. It is definately unique looking.

I bought this for my wife. I am very happy with the price and my wife is very happy with the purchase.
