The ring is long (it covers from the base of my finger up to about half my knuckle), but it's gorgeous! If you like big (but not over the top) jewelry, you'll love this ring.

I bought this ring due to the fact that it was not a traditional southwest setting and I am totally amazed how beautiful it is. I've had several compliments on it. I was surprised on how well it matched other light colored turquoise rings I have. Its long and stylish. I highly recommend this ring.

Now this is what you call a bold ring.....and I love it. It's larger than I expected, but it really makes a statement. Not for all occasions....more of a fun ring.

Review of the Sterling Silver Marquise-Shaped Turquoise Inlay Ring
Pros: - Fits true to size. - Cute, unique band design. - After a few months, the stone hasn't fallen out. - The person who received the ring as a gift didn't return it, so I suppose it's fashionable enough. - Reasonably priced (IF any real turquoise is in the the stone). Cons: - Must have been reconstituted with chalk and easter egg dye.. no matrix anywhere on the stone, and not in a flattering way - just plain artificial in appearance. - The color of the ring I received was a pastel, powder blue.. and no, not the beautiful blue one would see in, say, sleeping beauty turquoise. The color didn't resemble any turquoise I've ever seen (including that from jewelers and artists in the Southwest). - Anyone with the slightest knowledge of turquoise could eyeball this ring and be about %70 sure that it's more artificial than anything else (I realize the ring wasn't going to be identical to the illustration, but c'mon.. No matrix? Light powder blue?). For what it's worth, on style alone, it's a fine looking ring. |
