The picture shown does not come close to what arrived in the mail today. I must admit that I wasn't expecting too much when I ordered these earrings for my wife, based on the price. But I wouldn't have paid more than $5 for the earrings that came in the mail if I saw them at a store. The first thing I noticed was how the Opal lacked the iridescent play of color they are known for. The second thing I noticed was the color of the silver; slightly brown. It does not look like sterling silver; it resembles silver I've seen from mines in Mexico that cause discoloration on the skin. I'll have to check the silver, and I'll be taking a closer look at the 'opal' to see if it isn't really Slocum Stone. The only reason I gave it a 2 is the price and somewhat quick delivery.
