Sterling Silver Turquoise Inlay Oval Drop Earrings with Beads

These earrings are so pretty. They are bold AND delicate and I expect these will be my "go to" earrings. The stone does have yellowish crazing (just like the photo), but that doesn't bother me. The silver setting is heavy and seems very durable.

I really like the earring design, and the silver work is very nice. However, the stones I received are not near as nice as the ones pictured. If you look at the picture, the white in the blue stones appear identical in both earrings. However, this is a natural stone so it would be near to impossible to have identical matching stones in a set of earrings. The earrings I received are mostly blue with just a hint/slight amount of white (very fine veins of white - barely noticable unless you are up close). I was expecting approximately the same amount of white as pictured. Also, the amount of white on the earrings is not equal between the two earrings (I was not expecting an identical design, just close to the same amount of white). Plus, most of the white is only on the east side of the earrings and nothing on the west side.

I'm still deciding if I will send them back. Since they are not what I was expecting, I'm really not sure how much I will wear them.

I just love these earrings. The stone is a deep, dark red with some black crazing and the silver beads and mounting accents it perfectly. The earrings are a bit heavy, but they are so pretty I will wear them often.
