to the untrained eye, this looks like turquoise, but it's not...it is, in fact, a stone called magnesite, which most people do not know of...so sellers, whether unscrupulous or ignorant, call it turquoise...it's just dyed magnesite, a much cheaper stone (that's why the cheap price! you get what you pay for!)
forwarned is forarmed! the price is always the giveaway.

Bought this for my Mother in law. She loved it! Also purchased matching earrings. She said she received so many compliments on how beautiful the necklace and earrings looked on her. Also, it was not as bulky and chunky like many other pieces in this style can be. Very pleased with this and would recommend it as a gift for someone or to buy for yourself!

This piece is a nice length, weight and finish. The color on mine is a bit more green than the one shown in the picture but the color is intense (in a good way). Like it.

This necklace lays very nicely around the neck, the weight is just right so that it won't move around or shift, the length is just right, and it's very easy to attach around your neck. The turquoise is beautiful. I'd recommend it to anyone.

This Turquoise necklace is a little on the green side, I would have preferred it too have had a more blue hue to it. However the gemstones are all the same size and the color is the same throughout the necklace, the clasp is a nice size which makes it easy to take on and off, overall it is a nice piece of jewelry, well worth the price.

Anyways, I received it in three days and I absolutely love it! I have been looking for the "perfect" turquoise necklace and I have now! It is not heavy or chunky. This is a must buy!

I ordered this necklace for myself after being intrigued with a similar necklace from stella and dot (which cost way too much!). The necklace is a great value, is beautiful, and a very nice weight, not too heavy or light. The toggle clasp is very easy to use. I found my necklace to match the stock photo in color.

Just be aware that the necklace is said to be made of "reconstituted turquoise" which is basically turquoise fragments, too small to be used by themselves, which have been powdered and bonded to form a solid mass. I don't mind that the necklace is reconstituted since whole, genuine turquoise does cost a lot of money. This stones are lovely and way better than the plastic imitation turquoise I usually see in stores. I highly recommend this necklace.

I'd been looking for a turquoise necklace for a while but didn't want to spend an arm & a leg for it. The deal on Amazon was awesome that I had to get it.
This necklace is perfect for anytime I want to add a little something to my outfit. Its not the signature piece that makes a bold statement when worn but it feels like a nice quality piece.

I was looking for a statement piece to go w/ dressy outfits and I found it w/ this necklace. It's beautiful in person w/ it's smooth stones and heavy weight (which makes it look and feel more expensive then it is). I don't see this as an everyday type necklace -more of an accent piece to top off a simple dress. I love this necklace and will happily wear it for years to come!

I purchased this as a summer piece, but was somewhat disappointed with the product. Although the item description states the necklace is 17 1/2 inches long (which it is when you include the clasp in the length), when worn, the necklace strands do not lay nicely on the neck, but bunch up and look funny. I don't know if the stones are too large for the length, the stones are too tightly packed on the necklace or if one of the two strands isn't long enough, but it looks odd when worn.
