Reminiscent of the late Victorian era designs. We provided this necklace which was used in the promotion of Vanessa Carlton's 'Heroes & Thieves' tour. It is a classic Victorian style white and black poly resin portrait cameo in a scrolling vintage designed sterling silver frame. Containing (1) 25x18mm black and white cameo portrait of a Victorian lady with flowing hair. The cameo is mounted in a cast sterling silver scrolled frame that measures 1 1/2" in length including bail by 7/8" wide. The pendant is on a 13mm wide sheer black ribbon with a sterling silver lobster clasp that adjusts from 16" in length to 18" with an extender chain. Packaged in a gift box.

While this is a very pretty piece, which also looks exactly like it does in the picture, I was surprised at how light and rather cheap it felt. Since it is only sterling silver, and less than fifty dollars, I did not expect a masterwork piece of jewelry, but it still surprised me. The metalwork around the edges off the cameo feel more like plastic than anything else.

However, since it does indeed look just like the picture, and seems sturdy enough, I cannot say that I regret buying this piece.
