If you are facing your 1st year exams, and the California Baby Bar, this book is a great review. It contains Q&As for 6 subjects. The questions cover a wide range of "what if's" and the answers are comprehensive and easy to understand. I will continue to use it when it's time to study for the Bar exam.

Normally, I cannot stand Emanuel's books or outlines - but this one is awesome. It gives you short and sweet single issue fact patterns that you can use to practice for your exams. The books leaves no topic without at least one question - including obscure items like tort immunities or zoning variances. One L's who discover this book in their first semester are in luck, for I did not get mine until the end of the second semester.

Great and brilliant! This book has been the best; thereby I would not hesitate to recomend it to anyone. Haaving a bachelor of science biochemistry, master of arts German, and 4-teaching credintials has made me quite confident in my new law studies. Yet I was frustrated with the testbooks and the sets of books have oppened the door of heaven.

This is an awesome book for any 1L. Because of the nature of the questions a person must know the rule to be able to answer the question. Better for preparing for essay part of the test than the multiples section.
