This review is from: Steve Hofstetter's Day Off [Explicit] (MP3 Download)
Hofstetter's previous albums are very replayable. I always get the feeling he's a comedian for the younger generation(people born in the 80s and late 70s) mostly due to his material. Though they are fun, these types of comedians don't last long on the circuit. This CD in particular surprised me mostly because its nature. It's almost completely improv. You can either screw up improv or do it really well. There's really no middle ground. For Steve, he did it really well. He reminds a bit of the way Jimmy Carr plays around with the audience. I appreciate the fact that his material is not necessarily clean and the clever way in which he intertwines material from previous jokes into the current ones. Like I said before, this is a new Hofstetter.
Note: There are some technical problems with some of the mp3s. They'll just go blank for a while; The bulk of the CD is fine though
