3.0 out of 5 stars Out of context
While Steve Jobs certainly had strong opinions on a variety of topics, this is just a list of things he said, printed out of context. It would have been much better to know the time frame and the context of what he is being quoted on. Some things the reader can make a good guess on, but others not so much. I didn't love this book. I wouldn't recommend it.

Inspiring because of his never give up attitude. He clearly believed in himself enough to go after whatever he wanted.

If you really believe that repeating something over and over will stay with your audience read this book. It does leave you wanting more however.

It says in the title / description "His own words and wisdom." I guess I didn't read that part as I was expecting something else.

I enjoyed reading his quotations a lot at different times.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Best Book I Ever Read!, July 14, 2013

Every page has a gem of genius, wisdom, humanity and humility. A collection of Steve Jobs own words. Despite many repeated quotes, almost like the author forgot he already said that, the book still flows because of its diary like quality and the diary of a very creative and successful man. I only wish I read this sooner, like decades sooner. I think, like Apple products, it can be life "augmenting".

There are lots of repetitions.. and the quotes are not arranged chronologically.. hence it can be confusing.. I wouldn't recommend it..

The quotes are good but it leaves little flow to the book. If you like quotes it is very good. The quotes show his wisdom.
