About the Author
Jeff Legwold is a 1985 graduate of the University of Illinois and has been writing about pro and college football since 1988. He began his journalism career as a police reporter for the now-closed City News Bureau of Chicago and has covered the NFL in Rochester, New York, and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Legwold has covered the Oilers/Titans as well as the NFL for The Tennessean in Nashville since 1995. In addition, he is a regular contributor to The Sporting News and The Hockey News. He also works on the pregame show for the Titans' Radio Network.
Legwold was born on July 25, 1963, in Freeport, Illinois. He and his wife, Laura, live in Nashville.
