Steve-O Video Vol, 3: Out on Bail

The people who rate this poorly because every single shot isn't a crazy stunt are people who really need to evaluate what makes these videos and their ilk so much of a blast to watch.

Is Steve-O a crazy mofo? Of course he is, but is that the only reason he's so much fun to watch? Nah, there's a hundred websites out there filled with videos of idiots doing stunts, most of them screwing up and getting badly hurt (which is a lot more entertaining, in my mind). So why is it that we'd prefer to watch Steve-O instead of those random kids? It's simple, because we LIKE Steve-O. He's a hell of a character, and honestly so are most of the guys he hangs out with. This video is less of a showcase of stunts as it is a bit of a behind the scenes on what it's like to spend a few months with the man himself.

So what makes Out on Bail superior to the rest? Well, for one, the first video (I won't mention the poorly done Tour video) was a collection of more than five years of footage, edited for the best bits. Moreover, it was all comprised of the camera being brought out whenever Steve felt like doing something crazy. It comes across as just a little collection of clips where he's purposefully performing.

By contrast, Out on Bail is a video where the camera was following the crew around, so we get the feeling that what's going on isn't just played up for the camera, that these guys actually live like this. Not to mention that Steve-O and the whole crew are just plain hilarious. I think Ryan Dunn was a standout surprise star from the CKY series, Preston and Wee Man are amusing if not featured too much, Nick Dunlap is a perfect addition to the crew, Liddle and Corolla are mostly around it seems for the rest to play off of. The video plays less like "Hey, I'm gonna do something crazy, pull out the camera" and more of "You aren't gonna guess what I managed to snag on camera", and that's a big difference.

Sure there are some stunts, including the early on scorpion annihilation. We also start to see that Steve-O is absolutely crazy in every sense. Not just that he'll jump off a building (though there is some of that, too), or that he'll staple his sac to his leg (that returns as well), but that just in life he's one of those guys that you need to put a reign on. Not a highlight reel, this is a biography of one of the craziest and most entertaining men in the country and the almost equally self-destructive crew that follows him around.

The additional disc, PCP Saved My Life, may very well be the most haunting video segment I've ever seen. Steve-O himself admits to never seeing the footage and that he refuses to ever do so. It's five days of the man having smoked some (you guessed it) PCP. What follows is him going through a rollercoaster of emotions, and baring his soul in a way that I don't think any of us are ready for.

Anyway, to wrap up this 2AM review, buy this video even if you've got a passing interest in CKY/Jackass/Steve-O. No, it's not chock full of crazy stunts, but it's hilarious, provocative, and will often times make you think "How the HELL are these guys still friends?", laughing all the way.

This DVD can be best described as "Alcohol induced poop comedy." if youre a big or small Fan of Jackass, CKy, or any sort of stunt comedy, THIS IS A MUST HAVE DVD for your collection. It is the best of the three steve-o videos (although i reccomend seeing them first). It features Ryan Dunn, Preston Lacy, Wee-Man, Trischelle from the Real World, and Steve-O. there are also a lot of others that you will find entertaining. You follow Steve-O and company on the Dont Try This At Home tour all throughout the United states, Mexico and europe. you get a backstage view of all the shenanigans that go down at the various locations that the tour visits. YOU WILL ENJOY THIS VIDEO!
There is a bonus disc to this dvd titled "PCP saved my life" where you get to see a whole different side of steve-o.
Trust me, this is the DVD that you are going to wish you would have bought after you discover that EVERYONE is talking about it. this is Steve-o at his best

The first 2 Steve-O videos were shocking, gross and hilarious. Now this next Steve-O Video "Out On Bail" will highly entertain you. It features all the bad behavior that got Steve-O arrested and is also features a bonus disc. This is the best Steve-O video yet and it will definitley be worth buying if you loved the first 2. The movie was good, of course it was good it was Steve-O, but It was dissapointing because when you see a movie titled Steve-O Out On Bail you think you'll be watching a movie where Steve-O is there all the time. But we don't see Steve-O as much as we see the other people in the video. That was not the only bad thing about this movie. Another thing was that It wasn't all about stunts and causing trouble, it was mostly about the places they visited and back stage of the shows. Alot of talking was in this movie. Dissapointing but it was still okay. I hope future Steve-O videos don't let me down because this one did. "The Early Years" is up next so maybe that one will make up for Out On Bail.

First STEVEO video was great, second was produced by Nick Dunlap and started to become worst but it was still good stuff.

The third is still VISIBLE but we want to see STEVEO, not its co-partners ! and surely not his pathetic video producer !

STEVEO is a funny crazy guy, everything he does even if its really stupid would be funny as this guy is a REAL CLOWN !

But his co-partners are just drunk loosers that you can find in any PARTY.

First videos had 90% of STEVEO, Second video had 75% and now this one has only 50% of STEVEO action.

STEVEO ! We want you back ! You can put a bit of your co-partners, but not so much ! As they are really not as good as you especially NICK !

For those of you who liked and/or loved Dont Try This at Home 1 or 2, or if you haven't seen that then loved stilt boxing and the jellyfice yamaka, then you'll love this video! I missioned for 45 minutes to get this dvd, and it was totally worth my time!

What are you waiting for...BUY IT!

Going above and beyond with new original stunt ideas Steve-O rips and roars as a diary of a tour that never ceased to amaze. The documentation on the arrest is unbelievable, and the poo rubber was priceless. The timing of the release was great because it comes as an addition to his weekly nature show Wildboyz. Rock on Steve-O.

This Steve-o video just plain kicks ass. It is the best one so far. If you haven't boughten it, buy it. It censors out male nudity, yet female goes uncensored, good touch. The traveling is awesome and the bonus lets you see Steve-o like you'd never belive. PCP Saved My Life!!

This is dvd is what your mom and dad told you not to do or try.You can sit there and say,there is nothing else he can do to impress me,O yes there is.Steve has got to be the funniest and most of the wall guy in the whole dame world.There will never be anyone like him ever again.He raised the bar so dame high on personal stunts no one will ever top what he has done.Getting this dvd is getting apart of history and showing other pepole that he is one of a kind."Out On Bail" just like Steve is one of kind.So dont sit there breaking the mans balls,just get the dvd and then you can say"Steve-O saved my life"

I have the first two and and they rock, I just got this one and its definitely the best one yet, obviously all the gross out humor is there but he definitely steps it up this time. It has good length too, I thought it was never gonna end, can't wait for steve-o 4! extras and bonus dvd rock also! well worth the money if you like this garbage and I do!!
