It was a beautifully written epic story of a young mans sad journey thru life.

His rapping is not that great, but the song itself is pretty good.

I would recommend this song to everyone. The message about bullying is great. This song probably won't make the mainstream radios, but it should.

The song is very deep. It tells a story of a young man and his struggles. Beats are good, but the words are better. Listen to the lyrics, as they will move you.

In the poetic Hip-Hop song, "Steven," a young boy in a dysfunctional family gets off track and becomes suicidal. He misses his father terribly, his mother frequently takes off on him, his step father beats on him, his brother takes drugs and is in an out of jail, and Steven's tried to kill himself. The story line takes you along as "Steven" sinks deeper and deeper into the pit of despair. It's hard to believe so much information is communicated in a three-minute song. That's a tribute to Jake Miller, an artist with superior talent.

It was a beautifully written epic story of a young mans sad journey thru life. The music was equally amazing, draws one closer to hear the sad outcome of ahoung boy overlooked until he won't be anymore. I say go for it. You have nothing to loose but missing out on a great emerging (?) Artist.

Flow is smooth and tight. Beat is calm, solid, and appropriate for the lyrics. I'm a fan of songs that discuss social issues. Jake Miller manages to wrap contemporary social woes into a smooth flowing song.

The message is fine but it was the tempo and rhythm I didn't like at all. Way too fast and repetitive.
