"Stevie Brock" is made up of eight awesome songs.

'If U Be My Baby' is a catchy, uptempo song, it's a very fun song!

'Shut Me Down' is a great song to dance to and Brianna Fuente's rap in the middle pulls it all together nicely!

'Never Wanna Give You Up' is one of my favorite songs! I love the lyrics and the range that Stevie gets to show on this song.

'I Found You' has a funky, syncopated rhythm to it. Stevie has fun vocal parts on this song and the background music is cool too.

'All For Love' is Stevie's first single. It's very catchy and is always in my head! You can tell that he had fun while recording this song from the CD.

'You're The Inspiration' is a cover of Chicago's hit song. Stevie brings out all of the harmonies and I feel this version is produced better than the original. Great song, and Stevie's only ballad on the CD. Very cute!

'Girl You Know Its True' is a cover of the old MillyVanilly(spelling..) song. A lot of changed words because of the profane language used in the original. Cute song, but one of my least favorites of all of them.

'Flying' is an inspirational-type song for kids. It's a great song and I always have it on repeat. The vocals were written nicely and it comes together VERy well and makes up a terrific song!

Overall, 'Stevie Brock' has nothing wrong with it! Hopefully Stevie's Sophmore album will have more songs, but that is the only complaint I have heard.

OMG! Stevie Brock is only a young 12-year old. He is being very successful already! I love this CD!
Stevie has such a sweet voice, which reminds me of Jesse McCartney! Very young, but sweet voices. This CD has only 8 songs, that blow your mind." If You Be my Baby' is such a sweet song! It has a GREAT beat!
"Shut me Down" is one of my fave songs in this CD.It has such a great Tone,beat, and vocals, i completely love this song.I also thought all the other songs were very good.Completely. I think this CD is the best around at the moment.This is an innocent CD.Not many CD's are this sweet and very fun for kids, and people for all ages. It has great songs, sweet lyrics, and the great vocalist, Stevie. Everyone should buy this CD. Parents should buy something nice for their kids. this CD is very innocent and filled with great songs, that you can also dance to. Everyone go out there and buy Stevie Brocks' CD. Its the BEST!

My name is Erika. I have been a Stevie Brock fan since the beginning of his career. I think he has grown up alot and its great to see that. Anyway, back to my point. Stevie is one of those people who dont care what people say about him. He keeps his head up high and follows his dreams until they come true. I am only writing this review because of what 'A Music Fan' wrote on July 17, 2004. I think it is very dis-respectful to say something that rude. You might want to reserch before you speak because when Stevie was recording his CD, his voice was changing. All boy's voices change. Well every body who needs advice before they buy the CD, this is my favorite CD. I have 3 or 4 copies because I need one for every stereo! Thanks a bunch! BROCK ON!

Why would anyone listen to this? It has no musical value at all other than to give preteen girls a parascope to [the condition of having sex]. Stop it while there is "real" music left!

To be honest, I never heard his singing til I bought this cd. And WOW! Go Stevie! This is my song by song review:

1.) If U Be My Baby 9/10 - A VERY upbeat and tempo song! This is really an awesome song!!
2.) Shut Me Down 10/10 - This song is also VERY Upbeat and Tempo song! This is not the BEST on this album but pretty darn close!
3.) Never Wanna Give You Up 10/10 - This is sorta slow and upbeat at the same time! I think this should be the next single from this adorable and cute kid.
4.) I Found You 9/10 - Kinda like a ballad but not a ballad at the same time. He sounds so mature on this song. Great Song!
5.) All For Love 10/10 - The first single of his and I know why it is now!! It makes you wanna get up and dance. I LOVE THIS SONG!! =)
6.) You're The Inspiration 9/10 - This is The ONLY slow song on this album. A Cute remake and a cute ballad!
7.) Girl You Know It's True 10/10 - A Cute song!! Should be the third single! Fun to sing to and to dance too!
8.) Flying 5/10 - The least favorite on this album. It's for kids and seeing as how I am 16, I don't prefer this song for anyone over 13.

Overall, this is a GREAT album by this cute and adorable kid! I hope the next album is just as good as this!! The only downside is it only has 8 songs so I hope the next one has more than 8!! Overall, GREAT STEVIE!! GO STEVie BROCK!! =)

This song rocs!!! It is the best song eva!!! Too bad there isn't a longer preview coz once you've heard this u will neva want 2 let it turn off!!! Stevie is awsome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have to give my hats off to Steven or if you wish to call him Stevie. His voice is really good but, he went through alot of practice; vocal training; choreographing; and all the other stuff that is involved in becoming a singer.

Steven looks alot like Aaron Carter, and when I first saw him that's the first person that popped into my mind. But, his music is completely different. If you be my baby is a completely upbeat song, definately my favorite, All For Love is definately a good remix from the orignal, and so is You're The Inspiration. He has a good voice, and does a pretty good job on the stage.

Guys, you must remember that becoming a star or standing up to it is definately a very challenging thing to do. For his age he does definately a good job, and has a good voice. I can't stress this enough. Standing up to the challenge, and being in the light of things isn't easy.

Stevie has done an excellent job on this CD. The kid is good looking kid and the girls love him. I'm a guy, and can honestly say that he is a good looking kid.

Stevie Brock has an amazing voice. I didn't know a 13-year-old could sing that good. He reminds me so much of Aaron Carter.Really hot!

Okay listen up! I bought this CD June 12th 2003. It is now January 31 2004 and it has NOT come out of my CD player EVER! This CD is AMAZING! Since I got it I have been totally obsessed! Its awesome! If U Be My Baby is one of my FAVORITE songs it has a GREAT! Shut Me Down is a Totally awesome upbeat song. Never Wanna Give You Up is so adorable I LOVE IT! I found you is another one of my favorites(I really can't say I have a favorite because I love them all!) All for love, his single has been climbing the Radio Disney charts if that says anything. IT'S AWESOME! You're the Inspirtation what can you say I LOVE IT! Girl You Know Its True is totally awesome Love the beat. Flying I cant really say it is one of my favorites but I still Love it!!! YOU HAVE TO BUY THIS CD ESPECIALLY IF YOU LIKE PEOPLE LIKE DREAM STREET, JESSE MCCARTNEY,GREG RAPOSO,AND OTHERS! Stevie is totally adorable and deserves to be heard. Recently a good friend informed me that he is incapable of rolling his tongue. We were in my kitchen drinking Dr. Pepper. I allowed myself brief contemplation of the idea that people who cannot roll their tongues are actually not human at all; they are aliens dwelling covertly among us, exact human replicas save the inability of advanced tongue manipulation, a forgivable glitch. I discounted the notion quickly, rumination upon other quirks of the human form- concavity of the knees, lack of ocular pigmentation, width and breadth of nostrils, predilections for left-handedness- providing evidence enough in support of the hard-nosed reality of limited tongue puppetry among some people. The suggestion, however, that the person with whom I was enjoying a Dr. Pepper was not what he might seem lingered in my thoughts a good deal longer. I gradually reduced my familiar friend to conceptual fragments, breaking him apart like a prism reduces light, converting him into something unrecognizable (a similar trick is to stare at your name written on a piece of paper for minutes and allow yourself to forget that that word encompasses you). Who was this person drinking Dr. Pepper in my kitchen? Did I actually know him? How can anybody truly know anybody else?

It is sometimes said of a progressive artist that his or her audience hasn't been born yet, the artist's work doomed to be underappreciated by the contemporaries of his or her era. For Stevie Brock, the exact opposite is true. Stevie speaks to an audience that suffered the iniquities of childhood and came to maturity before he was even granted the ability of song. His self-titled debut unerringly incapsulates the hopes, worries, and fears of this nation's twentysomethings. More significantly, Stevie tackles the growing isolation of the individual brought on by today's homogenized computer-dependent culture. Has anyone else conveyed the impersonality of suburbia like Stevie on his thumping opener "If U Be My Baby"? Does anybody else come remotely close to capturing our sad proclivity for staying glued to our PCs and hi-def televisions instead of going out and meeting new people better than Stevie on the Eno-influenced "I Found You"? If you can find a song that summarizes our nation's penchant for hollow and impersonal corporations better than the lilting "Never Wanna Give You Up", I'll buy you your next brick-red Old Navy fleece. Also, who else has portrayed the reactionary distrust among liberal minds caused by the current administration's blurring of the separation of church and state better than Stevie in his ascerbic pop anthem "Shut Me Down"? Simply put, Stevie Brock has reduced so much that is familiar to all of us and voiced his blatant distrust in it all. He is a generation's Woody Guthrie, Chuck D., and Bono meshed into one blonde-headed, blue-eyed wonder. The only sincerely optimistic moment on the album comes in the final song, "Flying", where Stevie voices his love for planes. That his peers are too young to appreciate fully his musings now will only make it more rewarding for them when they are old enough to realize what they have been missing all along.

P.S. Covering Color Me Badd, Peter Cetera, and Milli Vanilli on the same album may sound overly ambitious, but Stevie really makes it work for him. Also, the first and second paragraphs bear little to no relevance to one another.
