This is Stevie Nicks and her band at their best!!!! This is one super outstanding concert dvd. Everything is first class!!! The atmosphere is great and the audience is really into it, making this one special concert!!! You get 17 great songs, plus a bonus track. Stevie does an excellent job of explaining the background or "story" behind the songs she performs. Her lead guitar player (Waddy) is simply awesome, and her band & background singers are fantastic.

The songs are as follows:
Stand Back
Enchanted
If Anyone Falls in Love
Rhiannon
Crash Into Me - the Dave Matthews Song, and Stevie does an excellent job performing it.
Dreams
Sorcerer
The One
Gold Dust Woman
I Need to Know - The Tom Petty Song, Again, an outstanding performance by Stevie.
Circle Dance
Landside - This one she dedicates to her late father. During the Song there are pictures of him on the big screens. Stevie does an excellent tribute to him. You can feel Stevie's sencerity. "This one's for you Daddy" and again, Stevie does an excellcent perfomance.
Sara
Fall From Grace
How Still My Love
Edge of Seventeen (Simply Outstanding!!!!)
Rock & Roll

The total running time is approximately 119 minutes. You get a bonus track of "Landslide" (Orchestra Version), and it is very good also. Overall, this is Stevie Nicks at her best!!! If you like Stevie, you'd better buy this one, because it doesn't get any better than this. You'll love it, I know I do!!!! Thanks!!!!

[Update] You MUST check out Stevie's LIVE performance in Chicago and you can by logging on to Stevie's site [...] and click on the Chris Isaak Hour link.
The POWER of the MUSIC in this epic live concert is absolutely OUTSTANDING. It's the best of Stevie times 1000.
You also get a really cool "preview" from Warner Bros when you pre-order the DVD.
Stevie is as phenomenal now as she always was. Everything that makes her music, songs, gorgeous inside and out - STEVIE NICKS rocks the house. Her solo career is amazing because SHE is amazing.
Yes, get this DVD and I also recommend "Crystal Visions... The Very Best of Stevie Nicks" to go along with it.
Great music that never gets old, no matter how old we get.
Amazing icon she is as she deserves to be!

Stevie Nicks has amassed such a huge and memorable body of work over the years--- with this trimphant live concert video being just the latest chapter in a uniquely ongoing career--- that she is one of the few artists who genuinely deserves to be called a star, a legend, and an icon. Let's get that out of the way first.

As she has gotten older (age 59 at the time of this 2007 concert), Nicks has somehow managed to age incredibly gracefully, if you can say she has aged at all. Looking easily 20 years younger than her birthdate would have you believe, she just totally sparkles in a warm, appealing, natural way--- not phony. She's not only a stunning beauty in this performance, but she has become a casually elegant and high-class lady as well. How many female rockers could you honestly say that about?! Not only that, but what comes as a happy addition to all this (although it shouldn't come as a surprise) is that she can still rock out too, and rock out hard!

It's just a treat to watch and listen to her. She's a musical and emotional experience, and when you've seen her at work, whether live or "just" on video as here, you know that you've witnessed one of the bona fide highlights in your life.

A special mention to her dramatic abilities, by the way. In the slow, quiet songs especially, she doesn't just sing the words, she seems to inhabit them. Not just a rock star, or even a singer, but a great musical storyteller. Although Nicks herself has said that her greatest influence was Janis Joplin, her particular style of artistry almost channels another era, a Judy Garland or Lena Horne type, maybe Marlene Dietrich--- only using (appropriately) bluesy rock music as her forum instead of show tunes.

I must admit, I am a follower of all things Fleetwood and Nicks... BUT I do not flatter if they deliver a weak product or fall below their true ability. I think fans are the biggest cheerleaders and yet, the harshest critics. This new DVD and CD from Stevie Nicks is incredible! I attended the show prior to the filming of her Soundstage performance and was hoping she would be as good as that night. The release was even better than anticipated. I purchased the DVD from PBS (before they sold out) immediately following the first airing of her show. She is vibrant and captivating. Today's female pop and rock artists should take notes. Here is a singer/songwriter with hits in every decade since the 70's... now 60 years old and still sending goosebumps up the spines of those who see her and hear her perform. There is no one else even remotely close to this feat. I am extremely excited about having a CD (a companion piece I suggest everyone order) with not only her hits, but also a couple cover songs that give the original artists a real run for their money. I will be truly disappointed if Circle Dance and Crash don't find radio play. It is wonderful that she has the chance to sing songs from other artists she respects. I enjoy her take on them! Do not miss your opportunity to buy the DVD and the CD... you will not be disappointed. Having seen at least one show from every tour the past few decades, I am surprised that I now find Stevie and her band delivering a better version on her "Fleetwood Mac" songs than the actual FM. I guess it's because they are HER songs and she has built an incredibly solid band around her... with Waddy and Sharon at the helm. They rock... boy, do they rock! Bravo on these releases.
