Deserves A Spot In Your Album Collection, January 13, 2005
This review is from: Stick It Live (Audio CD)
I have been a fan of Mark Slaughter and Dana Strum ever since I heard The Vinnie Vincent Invasion(which was the band both Slaughter and Strum were in before they formed Slaughter)and after the release of Slaughter's first album, "Stick It To Ya", which gave the band their first gold record, we have "Stick It Live". This is a five song live EP that was recorded during the summer of 1990 when Slaughter was opening for KISS on the "Hot In The Shade" tour, and five songs that appeared on "Stick It To Ya" are all here:"Burnin' Bridges", "Eye To Eye", "Fly To The Angels", "Up All Night", and "Loaded Gun". These songs sound as good live as they did in studio, and the camera that appeared on the studio version of "Eye To Eye" is also included on the live version. I have every Slaughter album, and even though this is only five songs, if you like Slaughter, you should add this album to your collection. I would also like to say rest in peace to Tim Kelly, who would be turning 42 today (1/13/05) if he wouldn't have passed away in the tragic 1998 car accident that he was in, and Mark Slaughter and Dana Strum, please release a new Slaughter album!!!!!!!!!!!

Not bad, but could have been more......., January 20, 2003
This review is from: Stick It Live (Audio CD)
What was this? Only five tunes? I remember buying this tape back in the day. I only bought it because I just had to have EVERY tape of my favorite bands. I listened to it once, then it stayed in my collection and never got played again. Could you blame me? Five lousy songs? Pure laziness. I know it's only an EP and I think it cost like ($$$) back then, but still. Do it right or don't do it at all.
