I don't know how many times you can read girl is so pretty boy is handsome both dressed in Gucci & Prada. Boy lies about hustling girl finds out joins the team gets her own team of pretty girls take over towns some one tells someone is killed and then the FEDS show up.

I liked the cover of the book and thought maybe that is an indication that the book would be good, you know never judge a book by it's cover. Well in this case I have to say I don't agree with that statement. I won't deny Mr. Black' talent however the story has been told so many times I didn't find anything original about it. Honestly it was pretty disappointing. The blurb on the back from a reputable author says "Shawn Black is the "Biggie Smalls" of street lit. WHAT? You couldn't tell me that right there wasn't enough for me to believe this book would be well worth the time I took to read it.

I REALLY GOT INTO THIS BOOK!!!! I LOVED THE RELATIONSHIP YASMIN AND SCORCHER SHARED!!! IT DEFINITELY CAPTURED MY ATTENTION!!! DID IT HAVE TO END THE WAY THAT IT DID (DANG) !!!
