It builds well on the first book. Good mix of mythology and original story. It stays within the framework of the myths but has very funny twists.

Got this for my 10 year old son and he really enjoyed it. It's a good way to get struggling readers to get interested in books.

My 9-year-old granddaughter loves this book and Book 1 so much that she keeps rereading them. She is interested in the art of comics, but also reads "chapter books" voraciously. I thought i'd better take a peek and at first was put off by some contemporary dialogue. However, the Odyssey does come through and, apparently, is deeply satisfying to a bright youngster.
