I heard Love, Save the Empty on a soundtrack, and wound up sampling some of Erin McCarley's other songs. I finally just dove in and bought the album. It's pretty decent, with a few tracks that are misses - to be expected from newer artists and even sophomore artists. All in all, I'd compare her style to Kate Nash, a softer KT Tunstall, or a quirkier Meaghan Smith. I'm fairly pleased with the album, and some of her songs wind up on my playlists.
