Digitally remastered edition of the former Runaways member's fourth album which was released in 1990 and made the US Top 100 albums chart. When the graduate of the Runaways - a great but neglected '70s band that also boasted Joan Jett and Cherie Currie - moved to Dreamland/RCA in 1988, Lita's solo career got somewhat of a boost, both creatively and commercially. On Stiletto, the input of hit producer/songwriter Mike Chapman was an asset. The album is a focused and generally enjoyable disc ranging from sweaty rockers like 'Cherry Red', 'Bad Boy' and 'The Ripper' to the eerie ballad 'Lisa' to a cover of Alice Cooper's 'Only Women Bleed'. Mike Chapman, known for his work with everyone from Sweet to Scandal, liked his rock commercial, slick and hook-laden - adjectives that definitely describe Stiletto. "STILETTO" IS MY FAVOROTE ALBUM FROM LITA FORD FOR GOOD REASON. THIS ONE IS NOT TOO POP FLAVOURED LIKE "LITA" AND HAS THE PERFECT COMBINATION OF HARD&FAST AND BALLAD SONGS. THANKFULLY LITA'S FAN BASE HAS BEEN SLOWLY GROWNING AND THE FABULOUS GEM OF AN ALBUM IS GAINING THE RECOGNITION IT DESERVES. SOME OF THE HIGHLIGHTS ARE THE TITLE TRACK,"HUNGRY","BAD BOY","CHERRY RED" AND "ACES & EIGHTS" AMONG OTHERS. OVERALL ANOTHER ALBUM OF PERFECTION FROM THE QUEEN OF METAL. I RECOMMEND THE FOLLOWING CD'S: LENNY KRAVITZ-"LENNY, RES-"HOW I DO", THE RUNAWAYS-"THE BEST OF THE RUNAWAYS", CREE SUMMER-"STREET FARIE" & JANE CHILD-"JANE CHILD", "HERE NOT THERE"& "SURGE".

Stilleto is a awesome! Lita is the Queen of Noise and one of the all time great female rockers and an absolute pro! Buy this now!

Both "Lita" and "Dangerous Curves" were very good but I think this might be her best one yet. Lita Ford is the best female rocker of all. Strong vocals, good quality hard rock and roll, and some very nice ballads. She does it all well. Would love to see some more music from her. If you're a Lita fan, this is a must own. If you don't know who she is, this CD is a great start.
