4.0 out of 5 stars Fun to Swing
After using this hammer every day for a few weeks, I don't ever want to pick up that famous blue handled hammer I used to swing! Despite the handle coming loose soon after I started using it, I still wouldn't give it up. (A quick call to the manufacturer and a new handle was on its way at no cost to me) The magnetic slot to start nails with is the envy of the rest of...

3.0 out of 5 stars Had to try it!
After hearing the titanium hype for over a year, I had to get one. After using it for a couple of months, I havn't had any problems. It still takes a few more hits to drive larger nails. I like my 25oz. steel hammer for heavy framing. I like using the Stilletto for white pine and sheet goods. It sure is a conversation piece on the job sites, but probably not worth...

Despite the handle coming loose soon after I started using it, I still wouldn't give it up. (A quick call to the manufacturer and a new handle was on its way at no cost to me) The magnetic slot to start nails with is the envy of the rest of the crew at work. I thought it was kinda gimmicky at first but not anymore. This is a great product. I hope you find the review helpful in making the pricey investment.

As a framers for Habitat for Humanity, It's a delight to swing. It drives nails every bit as good as a 24oz steel hammer. This works!

5.0 out of 5 stars The best, April 21, 2011
This review is from: Stiletto Tools Inc TI14SC Titan 14 Oz Titanium Framing Hammer With Curved Handle (Tools & Home Improvement)
I frame custom homes for a living and use this hammer everyday. It is hands down the best hammer ever made. I have carried almost every type of hammer out there and there is no match for it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Awesome Hammer, March 9, 2011

Highly recommended for framing. Eases burden on wrist over a heavier framing type hammer. Avoid pulling too many nail though. I have replaced the handle 2 times since purchase. $ stars since handles are fragile.

I bought this hammer 5 years ago and have used it for everything. I just had to purchase a new one. I think this hammer is the best ever built and will continue to buy Stilleto products.

5.0 out of 5 stars Maybe the last hammer you'll ever buy, January 19, 2009

I used to have a problem with tennis elbow from swinging a 32oz hammer and even when i scaled back to a 24oz I still had some pain. This hammer is light as a feather and yet I still feel like I can drive 16's in the same number of hits. I feel like it's easier to be accurate because of the light weight so I hit with more force. I've had this hammer in service for several years now and as I get more into finish work I still find it's the best one to keep in my belt. Even though i have a smooth face I don't notice any tendency to slip off the nail head. It seemed like alot of money at the time, but I've never regretted it and I still enjoy using it every time. Just a great all-around hammer!

Best hammer head ever made. The handle will need to be replaced at some point and I suggust a hand crafted one to match the awsome'ness of the titanium head.

5.0 out of 5 stars great hammer, easy on the hands, November 26, 2006
This review is from: Stiletto Tools Inc TI14SC Titan 14 Oz Titanium Framing Hammer With Curved Handle (Tools & Home Improvement)
I bought this hammer nearly two years ago, and have swung it more or less six days a week since then. If, like me, your hand is hurting after a day swinging a framing hammer, buy this one and you won't regret it. It feels like a toy, but it'll match a 22 oz. steel hammer swing for swing. One piece of advice - once the handle breaks, (it will, it's a wooden handle) instead of buying another wooden handle and breaking it again right away, go to a place that puts fiberglass handles in - it's just as light, and ten times as durable.

3.0 out of 5 stars wo made up these prices?, December 21, 2006

How can some one justify the price for these things. i own 3 of them.a 14oz, a 16oz, and the 15 t-bone the 14 does not hit like a 24 oz. i have a 24oz and that hammer puts this thing to shame. one lick and i'm on to the next nail. this one three or some times four.but one thing is for sure, you can swing this thing all day long and still have more juice when you get home. nice and lightweight but definately a propaganda.
