My husband is a framer. He really liked this hammer it lasted about 1 year with daily use and then the head fell off.

Just so others know. I waited almost 2 weeks for this hammer to arrive, only to find out it has been refurbished. I am very upset with amazon for pulling this crap. I am a carpenter of 30 years, and I can clearly see the glue oozing out of the top of the handle. Very unprofessional, and I will not be ordering anything else from amazon in the future.

purchased 2 weeks ago. so far, the best hammer I have ever owned. BUT I wouldn't pull 16's with it, the head will fail. Great grip in wet weather, and no aching arm at the end of the day. For $75.00, I would buy another one.
