5.0 out of 5 stars Perhaps the best Darrin Lowery Smith Book Yet!, November 16, 2004

This review is from: Still Crazy (Paperback)
Just when I think he can do no better, DLS hits us off with another hot book. In this book, the lead character, Kevin is kicking it at home in Chicago, remembering old times and having fun with his family. While at home, he encounters his ex, who is beautiful, but crazy. Kevin has an affair and because the ex-girlfriend is so raw, the only person that can handle her is his wife, her sisters and her mother. Talk about a catfight and a game of psychological chess, this book was off the chain. The tales from the hood that the author spins are amazing. There are also minor characters that are criminals, but because of how the story is written, you can identify with the lesser characters. The erotic scenes are the author's trademark.

5.0 out of 5 stars Steamy, Funny, and a Reminder of Home, November 16, 2004

(REAL NAME)
This review is from: Still Crazy (Paperback)
This was a story of infidelity, romance and finding strength to love again. In this Urban tale, the lead character comes home to Chicago to finish his latest book. Because he is suffering from writers block, he returns home to Chicago for inspiration. While there, he encounters his ex girlfriend at a charity event. The two think about old times and have an affair. By the time the lead character, Kevin realizes that he is in over his head, it's too late.

The other woman out thinks Kevin at every turn. So, what do you do when the wrong woman becomes to much for you to handle? You tell your wife! This book had an amazing twist in that the two female characters go head to head in a steamy plot with a lot of twists and turns. The references to Chicago are great. I think this might be Darrin Lowery's best book.
