80's prog stuff from France:remarkable and melodic too !!, March 26, 2003

Actually the right rate is 3 stars,1/2:this 80's remarkable work-coming from France-was characterized by a melodic instrumental progressive, in the middle between modern New-Age and New-Prog,which unfortunately was a controversial work. Obviously it depends on our tastes, anyway the lovers of light symphonic music,in the vein of Sagrado Coracao da Terra, should appreciate some of their symphonic and lush music passages, even though the lack of a true personal trademark was the main defect of the present issue...the choice of the instruments was not bad,and naturally the general mood too was quite memorable at last ....in my opinion the best track was the last one "Heart door/Twine", a sort of Flamenco tune in the final part of this melodic piece, by means of a tasty acoustic guitar duet.
Recommended album,even though not necessarily essential,but I can't suggest it to the lovers of Neoclassical Symphonic or complex Prog music!!
