turn that commercial rap off and get back to the essence.
life is more than guns and crack, thank you large pro and neek for bringing us another banging album
guest appearance by joel ortiz, street rebel, the productions by large pro all make for a must have.
just brought 4 copies in order to spread the word, it starts from the ground up-stop waiting on the radio station and put hip hop back in your hands.
if you want to listen to incredible beats with a witty charismatic flow then cop this.JUST DO IT.
otherwise just turn back on your radio for more of the same....

this is it. finally. a modern-day, front-to-back CLASSIC. the production on this album is the best i've heard in years. incredible. i'm about to look up everything Large Pro has ever done and try to get my hands on it.

this is an album for hip-hop fans who are tired of hearing r&b hooks. i can't stand how even the dope artists nowadays have weak r&b hooks on half their tracks. it ruins the entire track. if you can appreciate that sentiment, then this album is for you. real, street hip-hop. beats are old school, preemo-esque.

Large Professor is a well known producer and MC from Queens NY who has been involved in many classic songs. One such classic song is Fakin the Funk from 1991's White Men Can't Jump Soundtrack. On that record, he traded bars with his old neighborhood friend, Neek. Twenty years later, they have reunited to bring us more magic. Neek is the star of the show here. He's a street smart ex-convict who has confidence and energy on a tight track. Though, most lyrics deal with struggle and longevity, things never get dull. Both guys love hiphop and know how to express that love through song.Joell Ortiz shows up to rip the mic on Street Rebel. Large Pro himself also brings his solid classic rap style to album highlights like the title track, Guess Who and Toast Tonight. I look forward to hearing more from these talented veterans!
