Still Living? : Yeti, Sasquatch and the Neanderthal Enigma,
By A Customer
This review is from: Still Living?: Yeti, Sasquatch and the Neanderthal Enigma (Paperback)
Shackley's book is a must for any bigfoot hunter or anthropologist. The book is a collection of first hand reports from all over the world. Many attention is given for the territory of the former Soviet Union, now called the Russian federation. At the first time in my opinion, the western reader is informed about such creatures on the border of Europe and Asia, like the Tungu of Russia's North and the siberian hairy man - perhaps the last Neanderthals in Asia. You will be educated by the excellent summary on the end of the book by the phycical anthopologist Dr Myra Shackley. I'd agree that every library of anthropologists needs a copy of this book.

A book I believe all Bigfoot enthusiasts will enjoy.,
By Rodney Erps (Illinois, USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Still Living?: Yeti, Sasquatch and the Neanderthal Enigma (Paperback)
I read this book several years ago from the library and really enjoyed it then and recently bought it and read it again. It covers the Yeti, Sasquatch, Almas, Neanderthal man and others from around the world. I am not an expert or anything like that, just a believer in Bigfoot and other mysterious creatures. I think that you will really enjoy this book and wont be able to put it down til its read.

Rare Encounters,
By R. McRae (Saugus, CA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Still Living?: Yeti, Sasquatch and the Neanderthal Enigma (Paperback)
Of The many books on the subject I've read over the years, this one is valuable for its coverage of Asian encounters. Many of which are rarely published anywhere else. Covers North America's Bigfoot as well, but the Yeti and Almas stories are most prominent here. A book that took me so long to get around to
