ONLY THOSE OF US WHO ARE STILL INTERESTED IN HEARING REAL "SOUL" CAN APPRECIATE VOCAL ARTISTS LIKE TRACIE SPENCER. I APPRECIATE HER EFFORT TO KEEP SOUL ALIVE DESPITE THE FACT THE MUSIC INDUSTRY WAS TAKEN OVER IN THE 90'S BY SELF PROCLAIMED "SO CALLED" PRODUCERS CREATING DIGITAL BACKGROUND MUSIC LACKING CREATIVITY AND FEELING LACED WITH MEDIOCRE VOCALS AND A LOT OF SCREAMING. WHEN YOU HEAR HER VOCALS & MATERIAL IN FRONT OF LIVE MUSICIANS YOU WOULD HAVE A BETTER UNDERSTANDING & RESPECT FOR THE OF THE GIFT SHE IS GIVING THE AUDIENCE. HER FUTURE IS STILL BRIGHT AND SHE HAS A LOT OF GROWING TO DO. BUT STILL SHE'S OFFERING AN ALTERNATIVE TO MUSIC FANS WHO ARE TURNED OFF BY THE SAME OLE SAME OLE' MANUFACTURED WASTE ON THE AIRWAYS. PERHAPS YOU AS THE LISTENER MIGHT BE LACKING THE CRUCIAL ELEMENT NEEDED IN ENJOYING MUSIC OF HER STYLE...SOUL.

I'm not really agree with the one star review! I'm also a fan of Hex Hector, and some of his new productions are not really powerfull (jennifer lopez "feelin' so good", or Tina Turner "when the heart..." for example)...but many new remixes are really hot! Lara Fabian "i will love again", Everything but the girl "Temperamental", Shannon "give me tonight" the best dance song of these last years... And the remix of Tracie Spencer is part of the good ones, upon to me. It's not a really huge tune, but i like it very much.

HELLO EVERYONE. I HATE TO BE HARSH , BUT THIS COME BACK ALBUM DID NOT DO IT FOR TRACIE. I HAVE LOVED HER MUSIC FROM THE BEGINNING, BUT THIS ALBUM IS A FLOP. NOW SHE HAS SOME SONG'S THAT ARE GREAT , BUT MOST ARE AWFUL. IT WAS GREAT OF HER TO TRY THE COME BACK , BUT FAME IS NOT HER'S. SORRY TRACIE. I LOVE " STILL IN MY HEART". THAT IS IT.

Hex Hector's remix work has usually, until recently, never let me down. Seeing his name on three singles today, this title included, persuaded me to purchase all three in anticipation of hearing his unique stamp on a ballad. A review for his inferior mix of Ricky Martin's "She's All I Ever Had" I have offered on that title's respective page. A remix for Gloria Estefan's duet with N'Sync, "Music Of My Heart", is simply too cut-and-paste to really amount to a worthy review. This Tracie Spencer song, forgettable, formulaic, and posed to begin with, is not withstanding--still another example of Hector's declining distinction. Whether he's spread himself too thin or has lately been uninspired, who knows. However, nothing individual stands out in a single second of this 8:54 mix, nor does it reveal the precious attentiveness that so much of his work of the not-so-distant past does. (His remix of "I Will Always Love You" is nine minutes in which his prideful, doting work is evident, however Whitney's "I've Learned From The Best" is better serviced by Juniour Vasquez, not equally by Hex.) Given the lack of interest in Miss Spencer's music as of lately (this is clearly an attempt to gain chart positions) it seems a better song should have received a better treatment. Instead, something bad has gotten worse. Sorry, Tracie. As for Hector, I'll give you a few more chances to get back on track.
