One of the best books I have ever read. The story is gripping. The couple's commitment to following God's laws, even at personal cost, was wonderful. This commitment enabled a healing to take place. I highly recommend this book.

If you're looking for a light-hearted romp into a make believe world of carelessness, then don't pick this one up. This is only for those people with sensitive spirits and malleable hearts who seek wisdom and encouragement in a world where the sanctity of family is being threatened from every direction. This is not a real "page turner" but rather a "heart churner". Deborah does an excellent job of displaying the anguish of both of the spouses in this story where love is put to the test. I'm a better person for having read this book.
