5.0 out of 5 stars significantly reduces chronic pain
Works perfectly for me. Recommended by my chiropractor and doctor for my chronic headaches and neck/upper back pain from fractured neck. Works a lot better than traction for relieving neck pain. In using this product daily for 20 minutes, within a week and for the following month I have had NO HEADACHES! Be sure to place it far enough below the skull so it will be flat on...

1.0 out of 5 stars "soft" means flat!
This thing is hollow and flattens out like a pancake! I assume the "firm" one is solid? Otherwise this is worthless!

5.0 out of 5 stars significantly reduces chronic pain, September 16, 2009

Works perfectly for me. Recommended by my chiropractor and doctor for my chronic headaches and neck/upper back pain from fractured neck. Works a lot better than traction for relieving neck pain. In using this product daily for 20 minutes, within a week and for the following month I have had NO HEADACHES! Be sure to place it far enough below the skull so it will be flat on the floor and head drops down and just barely touches the floor. Otherwise the weight of the head or the shouders will cause it to flatten out a bit. I purchased my own after borrowing the one from my doctor's office. Highly recommend it!

5.0 out of 5 stars very quick deliver, June 14, 2008
This review is from: Still Point Inducer - Red (Health and Beauty)
This item was delivered very quickly. It is a great tool for tightness in your head and neck, but collapses if used on your back and shoulder area. You will need a more solid one to use for your back area.

Still Point Inducer
Several days ago, I've decided I've had had enough as far as neck pain and shoulder discomfort.
From pillows to orthopedic tools to neck collar I was decided to try everything.
So I went crazy and I ordered several tools online and started trying them out as they'd arrive in the mail.
This tool was the last one to arrive and maybe would've been the last one I would've chosen to try out.
Lie down on the floor with your head on this thing for 20 minutes (make sure you position it according to the instructions printed on the package in order to achieve optimum results). When you stand up you feel your muscles loosening up and the relief of the tension accumulated going away! Do this before you go to bed and you'll wake up without headaches!
So simple and yet so effective!
I'm so in love with this gadget!

1.0 out of 5 stars Two tennis balls in a sock, May 9, 2011
This review is from: Still Point Inducer - Red (Health and Beauty)
My PT recommended the tennis balls in a sock after I went through weeks of PT for neck arthritis, and still had bunched muscles and headaches. Same concept, much cheaper, and less squishy, according to the other reviews here.

The spot under the skull at the top of the neck is a great place to reduce muscle tension, though, if you are suffering. Give this gizmo or the tb's a try. Good luck.

5.0 out of 5 stars Helps insomnia, December 11, 2010
This review is from: Still Point Inducer - Red (Health and Beauty)
My massage therapist recommended I get one for neck pain. I have been using it for about 3 weeks for 15 minutes right before I try to sleep at night. I have never slept so well (even with medication) and my neck also feels a lot better. I've also suggested it to friends who are also using it to help with sleep. Definitely worth it.

I was hesitant about purchasing this for a headache remedy. After my massage therapist recommended it, I thought I'd give it a try. It really works for me! You have to make sure to place it in the recommended spot (lined up with the top of your ears) when you are lying down. After 10-15 minutes, my headache is always gone. Amazing!

4.0 out of 5 stars looking for a firm still point inducer, December 26, 2009

This is a good product. It really helps relieve stress. However, I am looking for the firm version of the product. My masseuse has a firm version and it is amazing.
