Format: Paperback
I recently had the opportunity to read a fabulously, inspiring book called "Still Skating Forward". The book is written by Joanne Vassale Jamrosz, author "Skating Forward: Sixteen Amazing Young women Celebrating Life on Ice.

"Still Skating Forward" is a collection of personal stories about figure skaters from the past and present, some are world class and Olympians, some are not. These awe-inspiring stories are about personal triumph and overcoming challenges on and off the ice. All of these individuals have something in common and that is figure skating and the fact that they are all moving forward and taking different paths. These individuals are great examples of the celebration of life. The author, Joanne Vassallo Jamrosz did a beautiful job in presenting their stories to us. There are stories of up and coming figure skaters and of individuals whose amateur competitive figure skating careers are over but they have taken their ice skating skills and expertise to a new level as coaches, choreographers, business owners, judges, etc. Their stories are inspirational! It will be a book that you will want to pick up and read more than once. We can all learn from their courage, creativity, and inspiration.

I first began by reading each individual's inspirational quote at the beginning of each chapter. Those inspirational quotes drew me in to learn more about each individual's story. I then found myself having a hard time putting the book down. The following is a very brief preview of just a few of the individuals profiled in this book.

Nicholas La Roche ~ was the 2002 Junior Men's champion.
