I've recently discovered this show in syndication, and absolutely love it. I never watched one minute of one episode when it was making its run on CBS, but I wish I had now.

The parents' (Mark Addy and Jami Gertz) struggle to relate to their kids, while remaining good parents creates some hysterical scenarios. This show is never short on quick, clever humor, and the chemistry among the actors works fantastically. The best thing I could say about 'Still Standing' might be this : I don't watch much TV at all, but I now have to make time to watch two episodes of this show every night. This show deserved a much better fate.

It took me a while to get into the show because people kept comparing this show to my family and I took offense.. at first. Now I watch it and laugh every night. This show is so well put together, from casting to set, and the writers are brilliant. The set kind of reminded me of Roseanne and of course some of the characters, but it's really not anything like Roseanne once you get to understand the characters. This was a surprisingly good TV show, and I am looking forward to buying the DVD set for the four years it was on the air.

This is the funniest show. I have never written a review but feel that this show deserves acknowledgement. The actors relate so well to their characters and with each other.

My husband and I watch the show back to back on one channel and when that is over we turn to another channel and watch the same two episodes back to back again. This is one of those shows that once you have seen it, you CAN watch it again and again.

I don't have a favorite episode, because they are all so very funny. But one that sticks out is when it is Judy's 40th birthday, the kids are trying to come up with 40 things they like about their mother. "She's pretty, she makes good meatloaf and she's smart...." As she is walking by, she makes the comment, "Hey, my driver's license expires on my birthday" And Brian says, "Everyones does." Then Judy replies, "Yeah right, like everyones expires on my birthday." So now they are back to "She's preety, she makes good meatloaf."

How about when they forget to sign Tina up for summer camp and she replies, "But I bet you didn't forget the beer"

The parents partied a little too much in school, something we can all relate to (even if you didn't drink beer, smoke pot or listen to ACDC, Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, etc)now they are parents trying to teach their children what is the right thing to do. But most of the time it turns out that their children teach them.

Watch it once and you will love it

Ok, I never write these reviews... I have read many of them but never write them! But for this show I had too!! I didn't watch it while it was on tv basically because whoever does the promotions at CBS should be demoted, along with whoever decided to cancel this show and leave some of their other crap still going!! I have managed to watch this show in syndication on Lifetime and the old WB (does the new station actually have a name!?!?!) this show is hilarious. The actors and storyline are fresh and hysterical. I truly wish that not only was this show still on and I had followed it but that CBS would get with it and put this show on DVD!! PLEASE CBS get this show on DVD and at least do one thing right!!!

what a great comedy show, the show hasn't go a moment of dullness. the comedy is quick coming and is really funny, not the junk that is out now.Everyone of the stars in the show do an awsome job, they are on tune with everything. Sometimes you can almost play the part yourself. Geez, I was so dissappointed that not 1 season is out on DVD yet. I almost wanted to be a part of that family, the fun they have.

This is by far the funniest sitcom ever made and should have never been canceled. The humor never stops and the jokes never get old.

They are all great actors right down to Tina. I sure hope they come
out the dvd's soon. Its such a nice break from all the other shows that
are on now. We need more comedy in our lives.

Still Standing is awesome, and funny. Every situation is diffent and these wacky yet caring parents are truly awesome. I cant believe that other sitcoms not as funny are out before this one. Hurry up and put them out!

This is one of the best sitcoms I have ever seen. I laugh from beginning to end. An whoever picked the cast.. did an excellent job. Each actor really fits the part. I wish it never had its season finale.

This is the greatest show ever. I love it. The show is so funny.
