Thirtyish Tash and Rich are in love. They talk about a future together, agree to marry and plan to elope to a French ski resort. They look forward to inviting their friends, many of them Rich has known and partied with for years to celebrate their marriage.

At first Rich's friends seem nice to Tash, but soon they begin to act childish, selfish and boorish. Adding to her discomfit is that instead of asking his buddies to cool it, Rich joins them. Tash begins to have doubts that loving Rich will prove enough as he disappoints her with his hedonistic attitude shared by his increasingly nasty towards her friends. Finally, the "She" arrives; the one that enthralled Rich when they were lovers in college. Will he go off with her during what was supposed to be his honeymoon or will he realize what he is about to lose for a few days of recapturing his early twenties?

Except for Tash, the rest of the cast is selfish trying to hang on to or recapturing their youth as time moves on. Neither Rich nor his friends seem particular nice as they are purposely stereotyped to be the transition decade from youthful exuberance and excess to middle age reasonability. Though difficult to read because of the attitudes of the players, Adele parks provides a fascinating look at aging, the final frontier.

I'm embarrassed that I even read this book through to the end. The dialogue was wooden, the plot was was like something from a Harlequin romance from the `80s, (Yes, I know whereof I speak; my older sister used to bring them home all the time back then) and it was smattered with sex scenes that were anything but sexy. I might have overlooked all that if I had liked even one character, but somehow the author didn't create a single well-developed character in 550 pages plus. Alas, the potential I saw in the back-cover blurb kept me reading, hoping it would get better, but all I got was badly written chick lit, and poor editing to boot.

should have been the title of this book. I only finished it because one character was so crazy, I had to see what she would do next. How did the author expect anyone to really like this book when almost every single character is unlikeable except for Tash, who just seems a little too naive for her own good. Obnoxious and full of themselves, you can see why they're all friends, no one else would have them. You need to have some empathy for at least one person in the book, to really enjoy it, unfortunately, you can't do that with this book.

Rich and Tash have the love that everyone craves. A completely honest relationship, these lovers have it all: trust, commitment, sensitivity, and passion in the bedroom. When Rich's friends tag along for the private wedding at a French ski resort, one unwelcome guest tags along: one of Rich's ex-lovers, Jane. While Tash is under the belief that Rich has been honest with her about anything and everything, including his past conquests, this is one old flame that Rich hasn't told a soul about. Jane is the little sister of his pal Ted, and used to be a fat ugly mess during their college years. But now, Jane has transformed herself into a beauty, and has her sights set on Rich.
Still Thinking of You by Adele Parks is a luscious read filled with colorful characters, devious plot twists, and a tearful ending. I liked that each supporting character (Rich's gang of friends) got to tell their own story from there inside point of views. Each friend is struggling with their own issues: bankruptcy, infidelity, trying to start a family, and that brings even more to the love story between Rich and Tash. The novel started off a little too slow, I think there was a lot of information that wasn't necessarily needed, but if you keep pushing through, you will find an incredible story. Still Thinking of You gives readers romance, deception, and a bit of relationship advice as well. A fantastic read for chick lit fans.
