Still only DVD available. No Blu-Ray release anywhere in the world not just the US. Why? It's 2012 and studios still take ages to release movies and tv shows on Blu-Ray. What's worse is that many Blu-Ray releases mainly by minor distributors that buy movies rights from studios just plain suck in various countries. The number of increasing bad Blu-Ray releases due to low bitrate, bad source and bad encoding (mostly to use cheaper BD-25 instead of dual layer BD-50 media) is the most retarded thing seen in the industry in the recent years. And then studios managers go around telling that they are losing money due to piracy. Releasing bad quality products is even worse than not releasing them at all. And they expect people to buy bad original copies and now during such a huge economic crisis? Also the fact that DVD and Blu-Ray releases in most if not all major countries get released for rental even months before the to be sold package it's just beyond crazy, really insane. Even because nowadays the 'net is full of pirated copies popping up sooner than the official releases that can be bought, and they still are the same, it's not that the rental release is missing anything. These studios managers need to be fired. There is no excuse for any of that.
