Book Description

September 18, 2006
Children who have been separated at birth usually feel great joy when at last they discover each other. It is not always so harmonious, though. The suspense/murder novel StillBorn! explores what can happen when an illegal adoption causes twins to be born without love and sold without remorse. One child is rejected and left in an orphanage without identity or care, facing brutal treatment and harsh physical and sexual abuse. His twin brother is adopted into a wonderful life. The result is bitterness and ruthless revenge with deadly repercussions. StillBorn! explores what a life of pain, suffering and abuse can do when a child is denied an existence and vengeance becomes a driving motivation. Humanity is relegated to nothing more than fair game!

(NEW) The Most Intelligent of Idiots: The Memoirs of Author Steven Clark Bradley

Every living thing that walks and breathes and rationally processes information is a living breathing, walking story that possesses both positive and not so positive reasoned and brainless conclusions. We are capable of the most amazing advances in life and come up with the most luminous ideas. Yet, alas,we are all flawed, toyed with, often dispassionate, very frequently self-serving creatures, until we have lost everything. Steven Clark Bradley, who spent almost seventeen years exploring thirty-four countries such as Pakistan, Iraq, Turkey and West Africa, is a true living chronicle of an author, a teacher and a world traveler. His is one of those living, breathing stories, The Most Intelligent of idiots.

(NEW) The Second Republic - Patriot Acts Part II (NEW)
What would America do if we were faced with a horrendous terrorist attack that no amount of security could stop? In "The Second Republic - Patriot Acts Part II," the President of the United States is confronted with a radical underground secret cabal that has targeted America with a domestic bio-terror attack that dwarfs the assault unleashed on September 11, 2001. This second book in the Patriot Acts trilogy takes the reader inside the White House where treachery and terrorism boils below its underbelly. While trying to avoid invoking emergency powers that could destroy American constitutional freedoms, a former Special Ops officer, now the President of the United States, races to stop a deadly virus, which has killed thousands of innocent Americans. This Fisher Harrison saga, The Second Republic, is an action thriller that could appear on any of today's headlines, on any given day with a plausible scenario for the death of humankind that is too frighteningly conceivable for comfort.

Patriot Acts
The Republic of Iran has linked up with radical American Militia groups to carry out a covert nuclear attack on America. Colonel Fisher Harrison, the best trained Special Ops killer the military has, is the one person who can effectively retaliate against these adversaries. But Colonel Fisher Harrison was framed for a murder he did not commit by his former boss--now the President of the United States of America. The two adversaries must put aside their differences and unite to stop those in league to bring America to its knees.

Nimrod Rising
From the Great Builder Nimrod in 4000 BC to today, 666 generations later, you can ride the storm of Nimrod Rising and experience the death of a world and the birth pangs of another.

Stillborn!
Unknown to Wallace Findings, a one-night stand results in twins. The mother is murdered soon after their birth to cover a hideous crime, which sends Findings on an eighteen year hunt for her murderer. One twin is adopted and welcomed into a wonderful life of plenty and privilege. The other is rejected and left an orphan, in a world without identity or care, facing brutal treatment and sexual abuse. This twin seeks out Findings and his sibling and all those who had abandoned him to carry out a plot of revenge. In the end, Findings discovers his role in a baby for sale scheme in which he and his unknown children were victims.

Probable Cause
Greg Bradford is an escaped mental patient, a man who wants revenge, a man prepared to do anything to get his life back and has a plan to do it. Corbett Mandeville, a homicide detective known for solving some of the worst murders in the state, has to stop him. But, Corbett Mandeville has secrets of his own that created an affinity between him and the vindictive mental patient that drives both to stalk their prey and take justice into their own hands.

Steven Clark Bradley has been to or lived in 34 countries, including Pakistan, Iraq and Turkey. He has a master's degree in liberal studies from Indiana University. He speaks French and Turkish. He has been an assistant to a prosecutor, a university instructor and a freelance journalist.

This review is from: StillBorn! (Paperback)
Steven Bradley could easily be one of the next great American authors! Stillborn is one of the best stories I have ever read! The characters, mostly villains, come to life in very descriptive form then captures your attention, and keeps you enthralled to the very end. Excellent written book from beginning to end and the ending will surprise you or perhaps shock you as it did me. I truly enjoyed this captivating and cleverly written story about a horrendous crime that you would not want to wish upon anyone! Bravo to this author!Tragedy in Tin Can Holler
