Quiet examination of the little things,
By Debnance at Readerbuzz (Alvin, Texas) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Stillmeadow Sampler (Paperback)
Mrs. Taber's worries in 1959 are, surprisingly, true for today: our need for "busy-ness", concerns about the possible aggressive actions of other countries, the world's focus on change. But the charm of this book is Taber's quiet examination of the little things that make up her life at Stillmeadow Farm. |
