Editorial Reviews

The Stillness Illness is the second album from the Canadian artist with the weird name and powerful voice. He's the one and only Nim Vind, and as German press candidly wrote, "He's Back!". Following his underground hit album "The Fashion of Fear", his new album, "The Stillness Illness", is a genre melding trip into a strange lyrical landscape combined with grand sounding production and his signature, catchy melodies. Nim Vind is a big believer in true song craftsmanship, rather than well-recorded background music that is all too prevalent today. Nim wants you to listen closely, and loud. The Stillness Illness is a homing beacon for those in need of musical Electric Countershock Resuscitation. Own this album! Track List: 1. Killing Saturday Night 2. Character Assassination 3. Hadron Collider 4. The 21st Century 5. Jackknife 6. Suicide Pact 7. The Radio Active Man 8. Revenge 9. Blood Clots . . . Rise Of The Police 10. State 11. The Clawed Bat 12. Shango Nitra 13. The Message

4.0 out of 5 stars Essential Horror-Punk, October 11, 2011

This album starts of strong and has a couple of memorable songs that carry the whole album. Songs like Killing Saturday Night, Character Assassination, Hadron Collider, The 21st Century, and Revenge are my favorite songs. The last 4 songs are the weakest songs of the album, and could have clearly been left out and made part of an EP or something like that.

Overall, the album is really good and the songs will get stuck in your head for a long time. I've been listening to this album for four months straight without getting tired of it. That's the sign of a true classic! Nim Vind has done it again. You owe it to yourself to at least purchase the songs I mentioned above so you can't go wrong.
