Diane Zeigler is an immensely talented singer/songwriter. Her lyrics are pure poetry, her voice lovely and clear. It's hard to believe that she hasn't been discovered by the mainstream. I've bought at least 20 copies over the last two years for friends around the country and they all say they're hooked. Get yourself a copy, plus one for each friend, and keep your eyes out for her new cd due in May 2000.

As a person who tends to like their music a little more ragged, I never expected to like this CD. But I learned of Diane Zeigler through a friend and decided to give her a try. This is one beautifully crafted CD, great songs, great musicianship and a voice like an angel. There are several standout songs. I've since seen her live and she's terrific. Her new disc "These are the roots" was released independently and is just as good if not better. I think you can only get it through her web site. Do yourself a favor and check out Diane Zeigler, she's really something special.

Diane Zeigler has a beautiful crystalline voice. Her melodies will enchant you and her talent will amaze you. This singer/songwriter from Burlington, VT is dynamite with this, her first CD. With songs like "You Will Get Your Due" and "The One That Got Away" you get the full scope of her talent. This is a CD that you can listen to for hours so relax and enjoy the music! If you like this CD she will be releasing another this spring!

I first heard Diane Zeigler live during "First Night" celebrations in Burlington, Vermont, back in the late 1990s. I was immediately captivated, and bought Sting of the Honeybee on tape. I subsequently bought the CD, and purchased it again after it went with the divorce. If three purchases of the same album doesn't say something about the quality and heart of this extraordinary singer, I don't know what does!

I'm thrilled to see that she's producing again; she "retired" for a time. I just finished downloading her other albums, and can't wait to give them all a complete listen.
