Good Stuff,

As you can tell, the Wu seemz to be losing some tha traits that made them what they are. But this Cd shows that tha WU Family is stepping up. We're looking at a new generation of Wu. I personally think that one of the best is Warcloud. You most likley remeber him from RZAs silkworm. Transforming from a lyrical Holocaust to a free verse warcloud was a big step but i think he iz still raw. But back on tha subject. Tha wu fam made this cd az good az it iz. I give it a 4

Pretty Good Wu-related album,

RZA's 2nd installment on the Wu_Tang killa Beez isn't as ggod as the first one but still pretty good. With 2 discs and 20 songs you get a lot of the Wu and they're extended family on this one. Instead of being 2 disc's you could have had a solid one disc 12 to 15 song album, but with the 20 songs, 3 are almost classic material, 1 is horrible, 7 are ok, the rest are good. You get almost the whole Wu-Tang on here (no Masta Killa or Raekwon) and some of the better (12 O'Clock, Shyheim, Prodigal Son, Lord Superb of American Cream Team, Timbo King, and Royal Fam) (and not so good) extended Wu family memebers. RZA does most of the production (13 songs) with each of the following producting 1 song: Trumaster, Six Mill, John the baptist, 4th Disiple, Dr. Dooom, F1, and PC. For Wu fans a nice album to have.
DISC 1 #2 - 9.5 (RZA, U-God, Inspectah Deck, Suga Bang bang -- tight beat) #3 - 7 (Solomon Childs) #4 - 6.5 (Black Knights -- nice beat) #5 - 9 (RZA, Ol dirty bastard (R.I.P.), Kinetic 9 -- nice beat & classic ODB rapping) #6 - 4 (War Cloud) #7 - 9.5 (great song by Killarmy -- tight beat) #8 - 8.5 (Lord Superb & Intrigue) #9 - 8 (Lord Superb & Solomon Childs) #10 - 7 (Black Knights) #11 - 7.5 (Black Knights, Shyheim, 12 O'Clock, Prodigal Son) #12 - 7.5 (Cappadonna, Solomon Childs, Prodigal Son, Timbo King, Suga Bang Bang) #13 - 9 (Northstar, Royal Fam, Clivaringz, War Cloud, Black Knights -- great beat) #14 - 9.5 (Black Knights, North Star, Solomon Childs, Shyheim, 12 O'Clock, RZA -- great beat) #15 - 7.5 (Free Murder, PC, Shacronz) #16 - 8 (Shyheim) #17 - 9 (Method Man, Ghostface Killah, Shacronz, Suga Bang Bang -- nice beat) DISC 2 #1 - 8 (RZA -- nice relaxing beat) #2 - 7 (Baretta 9 of Killarmy & RZA -- freestyle for a Mt. Dew commercial) #3 - 8 (RZA, Timbo King, Shyheim, Dr. Dooom, Shacronz) #4 - 9 (RZA --a bout his crazy cousing Bily) #6 - 8 (RZA, Fat Joe, Method Man -- Rhumba remix) Check all my reviews

Classic RZA!!!!,

This review is from: The Sting (Audio CD)
Classic Rza Album and BEATS. Wu got back to there old style on IRON FlAG and Rza has continued here. Grimey Raw Rza BEAT after Rza BEAT. Just like "The Swarm" LP was bangin,"The Sting" continues with hot tracks and appears now to be da start of a classic series in whicH da Rza IS gonna put a lot of effort into. The Sting is raw and bangin. The BLACK KNIGHTs and Streetlife is hot to death. I Heard them first on this mix tape, and they keep with da killa rhymes behind bangin grimey Rza beats all over this album as all da artists DO here. CLASSIC RZA ALBUM,and a must buy for your wu collection.

Not a typical WU sounding cd all the way through, sort of west coast sounding in parts, Mostly syndicates but the beats come through and the cd is definately worth picking for any Wu fan.

The Version i have is 23 tracks which is pretty long for it to be a 5 star album or 4.5. I'm a wu head as much as any reviewer here as anyone (face it you just bought an album with no charting singles....you just bought cuz it's wu i respect that and they need our support) but don't fall under the "everything the wu touchs is gold (not the riaa certation...the quailty)" It's still a great wu cd and anyone who bought the swarm or any RZA solo albums will want this. Doe Ray Wu, KB Ridin', Bar mitzah (cool beat) 3.5 at least

This CD has some of the worst and best on the same CD from the Wu.Dancing with Wolves has one of the best beats I have ever heard and the lyricsim is not bad at all. In contrast, Hatin' Don't Pay has the worst, on both accounts. I also liked the tracks Killa Beez and Thirsty.

Wu Tang Clan is number one. No one else shows a united front to create uncompromising East Coast hiphop with creativity but them. There are plenty of talented rhymers on this Wu-family compilation with Solomon's Child, Shyheim and Lord Superb ( from Ghost's two classic albums) being the standouts. RZA provides most of the music but 4th Disciple and Doc Doom also contribute bomb beats. For some fans of Iron Flag, this CD's production may be a little more synthesized and California-flavored but the swords are still sharp and with joints like "Outthink me now" and "KB Ridin'", the Killa Bees are stinging haters. BZZZZ!
