Wonderful live performance-terrible fidelity.
This is a performance by another artist I never expected to hear live, at least not from his "prime" years. Yeah, it sounds like crap- probably an air check from AM radio-very tinny and bass starved. Also, very precious. Now if only someone would unleash some authentic live Jimmy Reed (more representative than the strange show with Johnny Winter)...or Little Walter...

Useless release.
This may be an historical document ; but this is not music you can enjoy listening to. The band was not good that special night, several songs are very short - around one minute - , and the sound is so bad that it's hard to listen more than 5 minutes. One or two songs from this concert at the end of another Slim Harpo's cd would have been enough.

This may be an historical document ; but this is not music you can enjoy listening to. The band was not good that special night, several songs are very short - around one minute - , and the sound is so bad that it's hard to listen more than 5 minutes. One or two songs from this concert at the end of another Slim Harpo's cd would have been enough.

Has anyone ever found the audio or video tapes of the Ann Arbor R&B festival??
