4.0 out of 5 stars Very very cool stuff
This album is beefy. It just blows me away everytime I listen to it. It's heavy metal with a latin tinge! That's so cool. This is definitely music with an attitude. The music rocks and I especially LOVE the latin percussion work. Funky, groovy and screams in your face! check it out.

2.0 out of 5 stars Where's the variety
I dunno what happened since the last cd. 70% of the songs sound the same. I liked them better when they were called slipknot

This is a great CD, the beats are poundin', the guitars and vocals are crushin'! If you like bands like Soulfly, Sepultura, Spineshank, Slipknot, etc... then this is the band for you. The boys from San Jose arethe real deal, so get on board and buy this CD.

apparantly matt doesn't know the difference between metal and rock, rap and grind, tom and jerry. stitch's music is so far from slipknot, matt maybe it's the altitude. although they both do start with an s. but if you do want to compare an s word with stitch, try soulfly. this new cd is remastered and remixed and will kick you in the head from beginning to end!

5.0 out of 5 stars NoCal's Best Underground Metal, August 25, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Stitch (Audio CD)
Following in the tradition of Northern California's rich metal history, Stitch plays hard and damn well as good as anyone. I have seen these guys play live countless times and all I can say is they have some serious energy. I'd have to say that Stich is the NoCal band that has the most legitamate shot at making it big. As everyone already said, Stich uses tribal rhythms and pounding heaviness to create a Soulfly-ish sound that is very easy to listen to. This CD is going to be remastered and re-released this fall on Metal Blade so check it out then if you dont get this one. Peace

5.0 out of 5 stars I bet this will blow up..., July 26, 2000
This review is from: Stitch (Audio CD)
Hey this is one great CD. VERY VERY original, hard, not that rap-metal bullcrap thats popular right now. This is the kind of band that we all need. Great metal with tribal beats taken further than soulfly and sepultura, which I must say are two excellent bands. They recently added another guitarist to the old world underground crew, in addition to a national distribution deal with metal blade records. Don't be surprised if you find his CD in every metal fan's CD player... By the way, these guys are locals to here and are really really cool, and funny.

Stitch is a must for any Sepultura or Soulfly fans. Tribal mixed with heavy equals Stitch. Some of the best are deffinetly Colorblind, Cuidado, Noose, and the epic Stir. I know them personally and these guy s have a great live show and know how to rock.

This review is from: Stitch (Audio CD)
If you like heavy, solid, crunching tribal sounds, ie. Soulfly, Sepultura, Spineshank, Tool, Slipknot...etc... then this CD is for you. It has great beats and the guitar and vocals are just crushin'. The boys from San Jose are the real deal, get on board now and buy the CD!
