I am a former quilt shop owner. If you want to learn the newest and easiest skillful "machine applique techniques" this is a great book. All photos, techniques, instructions are very easy to read and follow. No stone is left unturned in this book as she walks you thru the process. I was fortunate enough to attend one of Pat's classes previous to getting her book. I discovered she writes like she teaches always offering easy step by step methodologies for all level students.

I recently had the opportunity to take Sue Nickels' machine appliqué class so I bought this book afterwards. It follows the techniques that she taught us in class TO A T! Therefore, you could buy this book and learn her method by reading it closely - the next best thing to taking the class.
