Great diffuser
Direct flash produces dark, distracting, unrealistic shadows behind the subject, washes out shadows in the foreground and results in a flat-looking image. Instead of the hot spot in the middle of the photo with a fall-off of light around the edge, you can use the Sto-Fen Omni-Bounce and enjoy the benefits of diffuse, softer, more realistic lighting. It slips easily...

Not worth the hype
With my Olympus FL-50 I really haven't noticed a great improvement in the quality of the flash with the Omni-bounce. If anything, it severely cuts the effectiveness of the flash and changes the color of the light so I have to alter the white balance in post processing. It stays in my bag more than it stays on my flash.

It slips easily on and off my Olympus FL50. I like to point the flash at an angle instead of directly at the subject. Bouncing this soft light off a nearby white surface works especially well.

I have used this on a few different flashes. Its always a little loose, but it works. I find myself using it more when I want to block some of the light from my flash when its still too bright at its lowest setting.
